TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions constitute an agreement made between you and Margaretann Bennett Fine Artist, in regards to your access to and use of the website www.margaretannbennett.co.uk

I want you to be happy with any artwork purchase made from me online. You are welcome to return your purchase for a full refund for any reason. Please see conditions as set out in returns below.

Payments

Payments made via this site are processed by either PayPal or Stripe.

Stripe allows customers to pay with debit or credit cards without creating or logging in to an account.

Checkout is protected by SSL encryption and is PCI-DSS compliant.

Payments can also be made securely by direct bank transfer in £ Sterling. If you would like to arrange this, please contact me. Work will be reserved for you and payment instructions emailed.

Payment Plans

If you would like to purchase an original artwork over £1000, I can arrange for you to pay in instalments. Since the value of my work is growing I appreciate this may be a helpful option for fledgling collectors.

A deposit is payable to reserve your artwork.

Please contact me if you would like to arrange an interest free payment plan. This is an arrangement available at my discretion and on trust. Usual carriage costs and return terms will apply.

Returns

Returns must be informed within seven working days, beginning on the day after you receive the artwork.

Whilst you are in possession of the artwork you are under a duty to retain and take good care of it. You must return the artwork to me in perfect condition and preferably in the original packaging. You should do this as soon as possible once you have cancelled the contract.

The cost of return carriage must be borne by you, unless the artwork has been damaged in transit. In the unlikely event this should occur, you should take photographs and contact me as a matter of priority.

In the unlikely event of loss or damage during transit, you will be refunded the full price of the artwork, subject to proof of loss or damage.

Shipping

Small, unframed artworks and prints are usually dispatched within one to two working days of order and sent by Royal Mail or Parcel Force.

Larger framed artworks require bespoke packaging and often a specialist courier service, depending on size. This can take a little longer to facilitate and I will always provide a shipping estimate prior to ordering.

Local pick up is currently available from my studio by arrangement.

If you wish to order framed artworks from overseas (outside the UK), you will have to request a shipping estimate prior to ordering.

My shipping rates are for actual postage costs and bespoke packaging materials. The over all cost for me is usually more than I charge.

Taxes and Duty

Overseas customers (outside the UK) should note that total prices are for artwork and shipping only. You are entirely liable for any additional taxes, duties or expenses which your destination country may levy. I have no control over these charges and if in doubt, you are advised to check with your country’s customs department before ordering.
